at thirty two weeks...

at thirty two weeks you wanted a little more love around bedtime.  you made all kinds of new noises.  your legs were moving all. the. time.  you jumped and bouncde and danced in your exersaucer.  you can't have much else going on when you are being fed, as you just want to look around at everything.  you love following hobbes with your eyes.  your tongue is twisted in your mouth often.  you learned how to grab glasses off of our faces.  you were an awesome traveller.  you put your feet in the sprinkler.  you didn't want to fall asleep one night, so we went out for a walk...we ran into august and his grandma out for a walk because he wasn't sleeping either...we think you two planned it.  you love touching my wedding ring and dad's watch...shiny things.  when i feed you in the middle of the night you are so snuggly and your little legs looks like someone pressed pause while you were out for a jog.  oh and everyone who meets you says how big and beautiful your eyes are.
at thirty two weeks we took two of my favorite family photos, purely because of your expressions.  this one...
and this one...
at thirty two weeks you got to spend some time with your friend, alice.  i love this series, because you were so cute together and you loved slowly figuring her out.  checking the scene...
making contact...
holding hands and talking to each other...
at thirty two weeks you experimented with gumming watermelon...
at thirty two weeks we spent the weekend with special friends at their new home.  you spent lots of time watching the action in the kitchen with em...
and stew...
this seemed to be the week of seats.

here we are with me tickling your neck and you in your seat giggling like crazy...
happy in the swing...
you look so much like popsie and dad in this picture!  i can't look at it without laughing...
hot days call for topless chair time...
you wait patiently as i prepare your food...
and love food...so much...
here you are just chilling in your highchair.  your expression and arm placement are entirely too much...

and this expression, oh girl you are a funny one...
this week dad dressed you up in a little polo shirt dress (a special outfit from aunt helen) and then popped your collar up.  oh jeez...
you now roll over in your bed all the time...

and look at all that hair...
at thirty two weeks you had lots of fun at daycare.  eating bluebs and chicken again...

playing the piano...

wearing a homemade crown...
and spending time with august (you two are getting so big!)...
this week was a busy one for me and you, too!  you got to spend lots of time with dad, grandma, and nana.  you have so many people who love you so much.  lucky lady.  i loved our times in the middle of the night this week.  you were so cuddly.

maeve, i can't tell you how much i enjoy reading to you.  you are starting to point at things and run your fingers all over the pages, try to turn the pages, and have some favorite books.  it makes me smile.

your happiness is contagious.  your squinty eyes, your little cackle, your happy feet.  this was a week where i was constantly reminded of this.  thank you little monkey!
